Just like last year, The Ohio Hip Hop Awards will be producing talent showcases in cities throughout Ohio. The winner in each city will win the honor of performing at the 2008 Ohio Hip Hop Awards show, as well as an automatic nomination in the "BEST LIVE PERFORMANCE CATEGORY"!

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!

Just added!!! At all of our city showcases, the OHHA is hosting MC battles in search of the Best Battle Rappers in the state. No more voting for this category, now you need to show and prove! The winners in each city will be invited to Cleveland to battle live on stage at the OHHA official pre-party on September 19th. The top 2 competitors will then battle live on stage at the main event on September 20th, with the winner taking home the award for the 2008 BEST BATTLE RAPPER AWARD in Ohio!! Crazy thing is I was browsing the internet yesterday and I came across a download of it. I feel like i'm 14 years old and in 9th grade again!!!!!

I remember I was in shock when I heard it and all the new tracks that i didn't even know existed! This was also around the same time that I discovered college radio. It's crazy how certain music can take you back to a time period in your life and help you remember ever little detail about what was happening around you.
